As a Mount Airy resident for more than 25 years, Jen Mathers brings a deep knowledge of Central Maryland to The McKenna Group. She and her husband built a successful HVAC company from the ground up, getting to know Mount Airy and the surrounding communities extremely well. Plus, running a small business has allowed her to hone her skills in communication, marketing and customer service.
"The key to success in any business," Jen says, "is to provide exceptional service. Keeping my clients as my top priority, while being honest and fair, is my recipe for serving my home buyers and sellers."
Jen's desire and ability to listen to others has shaped her life and career. This lets her easily form strong relationships and understand a client's goals. Jen says her guidepost in life is to live in such a way that if someone ever spoke badly of you, no one would believe it.
Jen attended Frostburg State University and is a member of the Frostburg Alumni Business Group and the Howard County Association of Realtors. Through her HVAC business, Mathers Mechanical, she has supported Homes for Our Troops, an organization that assists severely injured veterans and their families in building specifically adapted homes. She frequently volunteers at her children's school, and enjoys snowboarding, reading and watching "her 'Skins."
